COP-PILOT will participate in the “CEI in the Field: Cloud-Edge-IoT Applied to Agriculture Use Cases” webinar, organised by CEI-Sphere, bringing together pilot projects from COP-PILOT and O-CEI to explore how Cloud-Edge-IoT technologies can address real-world challenges in agriculture and the wider agrifood value chain.
As part of the programme, COP-PILOT Cluster 3A – Agritech Transformation and Sustainability Initiative (ATSI) will showcase how Cloud-Edge-IoT technologies can support the digital transformation of agricultural environments and agrifood operations. The presentation will highlight applications across the value chain, including smart logistics, agricultural operations, and sustainability-oriented solutions, demonstrating how connected and intelligent technologies can help improve efficiency, interoperability, and data-driven decision-making.
The webinar will also address common challenges faced when deploying Cloud-Edge-IoT solutions in agricultural environments, including interoperability, data governance, connectivity, and energy awareness at the edge. By bringing together experiences from different pilots, the event will provide an opportunity to exchange insights on the practical implementation of next-generation digital technologies in the agricultural sector.
