OP-PILOT Open Call Presented During CEI-Sphere Webinar on Scaling Cloud-Edge-IoT Pilots
COP-PILOT Horizon participated in the CEI-Sphere webinar “Scaling up CEI Pilots: Discover the Open Calls of O-CEI and COP-PILOT”, which brought together innovators, SMEs, researchers, technology providers, and other stakeholders interested in advancing Cloud-Edge-IoT solutions across Europe.
The webinar provided participants with an overview of the opportunities offered by the open calls launched by the two Horizon Europe projects, COP-PILOT and O-CEI. The session explored how third parties could engage with the projects, validate innovative technologies in real-world environments, and contribute to the development of interoperable Cloud-Edge-IoT ecosystems.
During the event, the COP-PILOT team presented the project’s 1st Open Call, outlining its objectives, application process, evaluation criteria, and the opportunities available to successful applicants. The presentation highlighted how selected participants would be able to test and validate innovative solutions within COP-PILOT’s large-scale pilot environments spanning multiple sectors, including energy, mobility, industry, agriculture, and smart cities.
The webinar also provided valuable guidance for potential applicants, helping them better understand the technical scope of the project, the expected contributions, and the benefits of joining the growing Cloud-Edge-IoT ecosystem supported by COP-PILOT and CEI-Sphere.
By participating in the webinar, COP-PILOT further expanded awareness of its Open Call programme and engaged directly with innovators interested in contributing to the next generation of interoperable, secure, and intelligent digital infrastructures across Europe.
