January 9, 2026 - January 12, 2026

From 9–12 January 2026, OneSource (ONE) will participate in the IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference (CCNC) 2026, held in Las Vegas, NV, USA. At this flagship IEEE event, which brings together leading researchers, industry experts, and practitioners in communications, networking, and consumer technologies, ONE will present the paper “Resource-and-Latency-Aware PSO — A Novel Algorithm for Intelligent and Contextual Cloud-Native Resource Scheduling.” In addition, ONE will deliver a live demonstration titled “RALA-PSO: Intelligent Scheduling of Cloud-Native Applications.”
The presented work directly contributes to the COP-PILOT project’s objectives on intelligent orchestration across distributed and heterogeneous infrastructures. The proposed Resource-and-Latency-Aware PSO (RALA-PSO) algorithm introduces a context-aware scheduling mechanism that optimises resource allocation and latency in edge-to-cloud environments, a core area of innovation within COP-PILOT and proactive SLA mechanisms.
Participation in IEEE CCNC 2026, a premier IEEE event bringing together global leaders in communications, networking, and consumer technologies, provides a significant platform for disseminating COP-PILOT’s research to both academic and industrial audiences. Beyond technical dissemination, participation in CCNC 2026 strengthens COP-PILOT’s international visibility and positions COP-PILOT as a contributor to the evolution of next-generation IoT and edge-to-cloud orchestration frameworks.
