On 25 May 2025, ThingWave participated in the New Technologies in Ground Control workshop in Sydney, Australia. During the event, ThingWave presented its ground control sensor concept to attendees during a site visit and actively participated in discussions, meetings, and knowledge-exchange activities throughout the workshop.
The event was highly relevant to the COP-PILOT project, as ThingWave presented its work on IoT and edge-processing technologies developed within COP-PILOT and received valuable feedback from leading experts in the fields of ground control and mining operations. The participation provided an important opportunity to engage with industry stakeholders and gather insights to support the further development of the project’s solutions.
