On September 23rd-26th, 2025, LTU participated in the 13th IEEE International Conference on Cloud Engineering (IC2E) conference in Rennes, France. LTU presented a paper on ColonyOS, an open-source meta-OS that coordinates distributed workloads across diverse computing environments, including practical experiences from two industrial deployments: real-time seismic monitoring at RockSigma AB and integration with EuroHPC supercomputers.
