June 30 - July 1

COP-PILOT Horizon, together with the Eclipse Foundation, CEI-Sphere, and O-CEI Horizon, will co-organize the Code the Continuum Hackathon, taking place on 30 June–1 July 2026 at the University of Cagliari.
The event will bring together students, developers, researchers, innovators, and open-source communities to collaborate on practical challenges across the cloud–edge–IoT continuum. Participants will engage in hands-on activities linked to key domains such as energy, mobility, and industry, working with real use cases and pilot environments.
The hackathon will provide a collaborative space for experimentation, knowledge exchange, and the exploration of open technologies, interoperability, and reusable solutions across large-scale pilots. Further details on thematic tracks and participation will be announced soon.
Through this initiative, COP-PILOT aims to foster cross-community collaboration, promote open-source innovation, and support the development of interoperable solutions within Europe’s evolving computing continuum ecosystem.
