SUITE5 has a long-standing experience in the provision of data-driven and data-inspired services in large, demanding and multi-disciplinary projects. SUITE5’s mission is to deliver innovative data-driven intelligence solutions through its strong technology know-how and utilising state-of the art technologies.
Role in COP-PILOT
SUITE5 is actively participating in COP-PILOT, as a technical partner, contributing to key activities of WP2, WP3, WP4, and WP5. This involves the Platform’s and modules’ requirements extraction process and the definition of appropriate technologies; support in the project’s Use Cases requirements extraction process; contribution to the definition of specifications and interfaces for the platform’s modules, and contribution to the validation and evaluation of the Use Cases. Additionally, SUITE5 is engaged in WP7, supporting the project’s dissemination, communication and exploitation efforts to ensure the project achieves broad visibility and impact.

University of Rome Tor Vergata was established in 1982 and is therefore a relatively young University. It was designed on the model of Anglo-Saxon campuses: it stretches on 600 hectares and hosts important research institutions, such as National Research Council – CNR and the Italian Space Agency – ASI.

Konnektable Technologies Ltd. (KT) is a software development company specializing in AI, machine learning, IoT, and big data, with a strong presence in Ireland, Greece, and the USA. They focus on creating custom software solutions that support business optimization and digital transformation. With extensive experience in European R&D, Konnektable has participated in 26 Horizon Europe and other EU-funded projects. Their expertise spans multiple industries, including crisis management, cybersecurity, healthcare, water management, smart factories, and more, driving innovation through EU-backed research and cutting-edge product development .

RedZinc Services, headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, is a telehealth solutions provider specialising in cloud-based platforms, IoT and edge-based computing to enable integrated care delivery. Our flagship solution, BlueEye Virtual Ward is a hospital at home platform for remote patient monitoring and proactive care for multiple patient cohorts including frail elderly, cardiology, respiratory, emergency and post-surgery cases. Leveraging a robust infrastructure for cloud computing and IoT, we empower healthcare providers with virtual wards and telehealth capabilities, enhancing patient outcomes and supporting efficient and sustainable healthcare delivery.
Role in COP-PILOT
As a leader of Task 4.2, Piloting Use Cases development, RedZinc leads the development and piloting of use cases, integrating advanced features and technologies to achieve project objectives. RedZinc ensures compliance with technical and functional requirements while documenting and disseminating insights to foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the scientific community.
RedZinc is also a contributor in tasks 3.1 End-to-end multi-domain service orchestration, 3.2 Distributed edge cloud and resource orchestration, 3.3 IoT hardware and data management, Task 4.4 Open calls testbed setup and integration

AgroApps was established in 2015 with the vision to bring technology closer to the agricultural sector and provide sustainable tools that support modern farming. The company was founded by a team of experienced agronomists and IT specialists, who had a deep understanding of the agricultural sector and saw the growing need for technological support and for effective forward-thinking IT solutions.
Passionate about applying ICT, AgroApps team uses and combines sophisticated mathematical models, machine learning technologies, satellite and meteorological data and crop development models to build solutions and customized services for farmers, agricultural consultants, agri-food and agricultural insurance companies, as well as for the public sector worldwide. Today, the company has a set of IT solutions that address real life challenges touching upon the benefits of sustainable agriculture and the complex farm management decision-making process. AgroApps solutions help the agricultural stakeholders protect and improve their operations, guide more informed agricultural decisions and get the most out of their land.
Over those years, AgroApps has established strong partnerships with leading actors of the agri-business sector in Greece. Role in COP-PILOT
Out of the four (4) implementation axes defined in this project, AXON LOGIC mainly focuses on the first one, Axis #1-Tech Feature: LLM-based service descriptor mechanism and onboarding. AXON LOGIC can play a significant role in delivering parts of Task 3.1 and Task 3.4, implementing intelligent SLA compliance plugins as platform services and providing an LLM-based logic and translation mechanism, respectively.
AXON LOGIC can also support activities from other WPs.

Barbastathis has continuously supported the Greek economy, as well as Greek entrepreneurship. In doing so, we remain faithful to our vision of offering our customers the tastiest, safest, and most nutritious vegetables, while at the same time preserving our tradition in flavor and attuning it to the needs of contemporary life.
Barba Stathis is involved in work packages 2,3,4,5,6,7 and will be the testbed for DREVEN in WP5. Two of the plots of Central Macedonia, cultivated with spinach will be used for antinutrients measurements. Barba Stathis will also offer its drone technology for surveillance and data collection while its agronomist team will inspect the crop quality closely.

PREVEZA BIOGAS – design, construction and management of biogas and biomethane installations.
The 12-year expertise of our company in the field of gas and LPG network installations is the reason why the largest industries and craft industries throughout the country have trusted us.
One of them is the company Makios, for which we undertook the installation of a new piping network.
The project concerns the connection of the cogeneration device, with biogas supply, cooling water supply, oil network supply as well as the installation of a hot water piping network.

PPC is the leading South East European electric utility, with activities in electricity generation, distribution and sale of advanced energy products and services in Greece Romania and North Macedonia. It is the largest power supplier in Greece and Romania, servicing 8.8 m customers in total, providing them with approximately 33TWh of energy.
For more than 70 years, PPC has been at the forefront of Greece’s power industry and an integral part of the country’s process of electrification. PPC is publicly listed in the Athens Stock Exchange since 2001.
PPC is a leading generator and supplier of electricity in Greece and Romania with a total capacity of 10.8 GW including thermal, hydro and RES power plants.
PPC is now the largest clean energy company in SEE with 4.7 GW production capacity from renewables and projects of 2.8 GW in the under construction or Ready to build stage with a project pipeline of 20 GW.
PPC holds a 51% interest in the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator S.A., which is the sole owner and operator of the electricity distribution network in Greece, with over 249,000 km of network. PPC owns in Romania the distribution network in 3 regions of the country, including Bucharest, by far the country’s most important region. It distributes energy to over 3.1 million customers, at approximately 1/3 of Romania with over 134,000 km of network.

ENIC (enakronIC) is a newly established start-up located in Patras, Greece. It comprises a team of innovative individuals with versatile competencies in cloud-edge infrastructures, data management, domain-driven Machine Learning (ML) analytics, and customizable hardware architectures for acceleration. ENIC provides end-to-end (e2e) ML-enabled real-time services that meet the customer's industry-specific requirements. These services aim to increase businesses' sustainability index by enhancing technical performance efficiency, reducing environmental footprints, and promoting social welfare. Specifically, ENIC focuses on improving energy efficiency in buildings and power grid optimization, optimizing industrial processes, and managing assets for utilities such as PV parks. The company aims to deliver AI-based analytics solutions to various energy stakeholders tailored to their specific business needs to improve operational efficiency.
ENIC's technology stack is built on MLOps to provide end-to-end AI services. It leverages multi-domain expertise for advanced analytics and integrates cloud-edge computing to enable optimal deployment of contextual analytics. Additionally, ENIC focuses on use case-driven customized architectures for AI acceleration, specifically designed for latency-critical applications.
In COP-Pilot, ENIC is the technology provider of “Cluster 3 Energy”. It will provide the analytic services for all three UCs of the cluster, as well as the infrastructure to digest data from the on-field sensors in to the COP-Pilot platform.

The Institute of Communications and Computer Systems (ICCS) is a non-profit Academic Research Body associated with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (SECE) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). ICCS participates in COP-PILOT through the Computing Systems Laboratory (CSLab), one of the largest research laboratories of the Computer Science Department of SECE. CSLab possesses strong expertise in computer architecture and large scale parallel (HPC) and distributed systems (Big Data, Cloud and P2P infrastructures). Its members perform research and development both at the higher level of algorithmic design and applications’ optimization as well as in the assembly and operation of such systems with a tradition spanning more than three decades in the implementation, optimization and operation of systems at all scales.
Role in COP-PILOT:
ICCS is actively participating in COP-PILOT, as a technical partner, contributing to key activities of WP2, WP3, and WP4. Additionally, ICCS is engaged in WP7, supporting the project’s dissemination, communication and exploitation efforts to ensure the project achieves broad visibility and impact.

iLink is an innovative Software company in the field of IoT with a strong background in Software Telematics Solutions. It was established in 2005, and its portfolio enumerates more than 1000 enterprises in the private and public sectors in SE Europe. iLink research and development department has produced robust and mature solutions in the field of Fleet Telematics, Smart Logistics, and Enterprise Mobile Applications. The R&D department of iLink deals with research in the field of Genetic Algorithms related to Smart Logistics, IoT & Big Data Analytics related to its Fleet Management Solutions, and Blockchain related to the long-term target of building strong and transparent consortiums for several industrial sectors. The R&D department has applied a huge effort in implementing analytic route optimization algorithms following global standards and principles in the field of VRP (Vehicle Routing Problem) and mTSP (multiple Traveling Salesmen Problem) algorithms.
Role in COP-PILOT
iLink leverages Hyperledger Fabric to ensure data integrity, deploys smart contracts for automated workflows, and integrates AI-driven IoT insights to enable real-time logistics optimization. Its scalable vehicle routing problem (VRP) algorithms and interoperability solutions enhance collaboration and efficiency across sectors. As a key player in fostering interoperability and data sharing across the agricultural value chain, iLink ensures seamless collaboration and information exchange among stakeholders. The organization is also responsible for streamlining the integration of IoT, edge computing, and robotics into farming operations, driving the adoption of advanced technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
As the use case owner for 3a.3 and 3a.4, iLink plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and operational alignment within these domains. Furthermore, its extensive expertise in diverse Innovation Actions (IA) and Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) projects under the EU framework solidifies its reputation as a leader in advancing agricultural technologies and promoting sector-wide modernization.

PNET is a private company incorporated as a Competence Centre in the field of B5G smart networks and services. It involves 21 shareholders representing industrial and business sectors, research and academia, public authorities, consulting and entrepreneurship support companies. It aims to support businesses in their digitalization journey by leveraging advanced technologies such as private 5G networks, edge cloud, and programmable networks. The Center places strong emphasis on strengthening vertical value chains, promoting sustainability, and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. p-NET’s services focus on the research and development of business solutions, experimentation and pilot testing in advanced lab infrastructure and experimental facilities, upskilling and reskilling training as well as awareness-raising and consulting services for public authorities, businesses, and startups.
PNET Role in COP-PILOT
PNET participates in the European project COP-PILOT, leveraging its expertise as Greece's first Competence Center for Emerging Smart 5G/6G Networks and Services. At the core of its contribution, PNET employs its advanced testbed to emulate real-time IoT data collection from Distributed Energy Resources (DER) through Advanced Metering Infrastructure and IoT devices. By quantifying, aggregating, and enabling flexibility with network state awareness, PNET facilitates critical real-time computations, including power flow analysis and data analytics, hosted on its testbed cloud (ENIC). Additionally, it ensures seamless feedback of activation signals to IoT-connected DER. PNET also actively participates in work packages addressing requirements, specifications, platform implementation, and large-scale service orchestration deployment. As the leader of Task 4.4, PNET oversees the setup and integration of open calls testbeds, ensuring robust piloting clusters and comprehensive preparation and integration of use cases, cementing its role as a key driver of innovation and technology transfer within COP-PILOT.

UBITECH has been established in Athens, Greece back in 2005, concentrated in the European market and acquiring several EC and national grants for novel R&D initiatives. UBITECH has extended its operations with targeted international activities through its affiliated companies, subsidiaries and offices in Limassol (Cyprus) and Buenos Aires (Argentina). UBITECH R&D team participates in large, multidisciplinary consortiums in complex and highly-innovative projects, conducting research in: Cloud Computing, Software and Services; 5G Technologies; Digital Security, Big Data and Analytics; Cyber-Physical Systems and Internet of Things; Energy Efficiency; Factories of the Future; e/m-Health.
Role in COP-PILOT
UBI undertakes the project technical management role, providing key contributions concerning the overall architecture and specific developments related to the platform interfaces, the telemetry solutions, and the definitions of the ZTP event management objectives. UBI also hosts the multi-domain E2E orchestration and implements the integration fabric interfaces, leading the WP3 development activities and leads tasks T1.2, T2.3, & T3.1.

UoP is the third largest university in Greece with each own campus in the outskirts of Patras city. The Network Architectures and Management (NAM) group (http://nam.ece.upatras.gr/) which represents the research aspect of the Greek cluster in this project acquired its expertise through collaborations with industry and a series of research national and European projects. It is currently comprised of 3 professors, 6 post-docs, 4 researchers-system developers and 7 PhD students. During the last ten years we have involved in many 5G/6G projects like 5G-VINNI, 5G-SOLUTIONS, 5G-VICTORI, 5GASP, FIDAL, ACROSS, 6G-XCEL, IMAGINEB5G, SAND5G, P2CODE . We are also maintainers of http://sence.city a service that engages citizens to report issues across their city and the ThingsNetwork IoT infrastructure/community in Patras.
UOP Role in COP-PILOT
UOP in COP-PILOT is the leader of the Cluster 3 on Energy and Agriculture. The UoP testbed will be employed to emulate the DER real IoT data collection from the Advanced Metering Infrastructure and IoT devices (in real-time) and quantify/aggregate/enable flexibility with network state awareness; the aggregator functionality will be hosted on the testbed cloud. All the DR computations, power flow analysis and data analytics in real time will be performed on the test bed cloud (ENIC) and the activation signals will be fed back to the IoT connected DER. UoP brings also expertise in the Open Source infrastructure manager OpenSlice. Leader of various tasks and deliverables

Role in COP-PILOT
OTE participates to the project management activities in the context of WP1.
In the specific context of WP2, a significant part of OTE’s effort will be dedicated to contributions related to: (i) the ecosystem definitions & requirements; (ii) the piloting use cases (UCs) definition and requirements, and; (iii) the definition of the system architecture.
In addition, it is expected that OTE will support the effort for the piloting Clusters and use cases’ Preparation & Integration in WP4, particularly via: (i) the support of integration of the COP-PILOT platform in the piloting clusters; (ii) configuration and resource management of testbeds for UCs integration; (iii) the implementation of UCs’ advanced features and technologies; (iv) the integration and preparation of UCs for experimentation, and; (v) the support for Open Calls and integration of third parties.
In the framework of WP5, OTE also aims to emphasize for: (i) the support and validation of trials and experiments; (ii) assessing all related impact and; (iii) providing feedback on the validation and evaluation of the platform, UCs, Clusters, and experiments.
OTE will also be involved in actions for the support of Open Calls (as in WP6) and will participate to various dissemination, communication and exploitation efforts (as in WP7) aiming, among others to: raise awareness of the project; establish liaisons and collaboration with other projects, and; extract IPRs.

Agentscape AG is a Berlin-based high-tech SME specializing in developing intelligent software agents and dynamic personalization technologies. Founded as a spin-off from the Fraunhofer FOKUS Institute, the company delivers innovative solutions in areas such as information mining, self-service applications, and security as a service. Its expertise spans vertical markets including healthcare, telecommunications, media, automotive, and anti-terror applications. Agentscape has a strong track record of participating in numerous EU-funded projects, contributing cutting-edge technologies and services for intelligent system platforms and knowledge-driven decision support systems.
Role in COP-PILOT
Agentscape AG role in the COP-PILOT project focuses on the development of a smart role-based business and operations portal. Leading Task 3.4, Agentscape is responsible for designing a front-end interface tailored for diverse stakeholders, including service providers, managers, and end-users. Key innovations include the integration of a Large Language Model (LLM)-powered multimodal user interface (LLM-UI plugin), which interprets high-level user inputs such as text and images into operational blueprints for service onboarding and lifecycle management.
Agentscape’s deliverables include:
- An initial release of the role-based access system and LLM-UI plugin by Month 18.
- Full system deployment by Month 26.
Agentscape will also support dissemination and exploitation activities, providing training and guidance to ensure effective use of its technologies across the project's four piloting clusters.

Together with its members and partners, FIWARE Foundation drives the definition – and the Open Source implementation – of key open standards that enable the development of portable and interoperable smart solutions in a faster, easier and affordable way, avoiding vendor lock-in scenarios, whilst also nurturing FIWARE as a sustainable and innovation-driven business ecosystem.
Role in COP-PILOT
FIWARE is the Task leader of task 3.3. - IoT hardware and data management
This task seeks to integrate disparate IoT sensors and data via an NGSI-LD Context Broker and its outcomes include more fully defined data models and better integration of multiple IoT Systems. It is envisioned that a basic gateway for NGSI and Arrowhead will be available by month 10 with various updates and modifications thereafter. The initial documentation will involve the specification of gateways for various IoT data formats.
In addition, FIWARE will be involved in most other work packages (WP2, WP3, WP4, WP6) to various degrees, although most effort will be given to WP3. For example, FIWARE is involved in standardization at ETSI (related to task 7.2) and will help creation of data models for task 3.2 and the overall COP-Pilot architecture (task 2.3)

InCites Consulting SA (INC) is an SME company established in Luxembourg. INC was founded on May 2013 and its main activities rely on telecommunications technoeconomics, regulatory economics and policies, demand forecasting, business and price modelling. The objectives of INC can be summarized as follows:
- Consulting services regarding techno-economic analysis of ICT systems and services, demand and prices forecasting of ICT products and services, uncertainty management in telecom investment.
- Consulting services on regulatory economics and financial investments in ICT.
- Provision of consultancy services for the development of bottom-up and top-down models for telecommunication networks for regulators, government agencies, telecommunications providers and associations.
- Research on new business models and technoeconomics methodologies
- Development, operation, commercialization and support of specialized software tools and components for all the above purposes
Role in COP-PILOT
INC is leading WP7: Dissemination, Communication, Exploitation and Standardization and will oversee all the activities related to dissemination, communication, standardization and exploitation that will be implemented. INC is also leading Task 7.3: Exploitation activities and IPR management that has as objective to identify the exploitable assets that will come out of the project and define of coherent, detailed, and pragmatic market-related exploitation strategy.

Netcompany helps EU Institutions support and implement their policies while at the same time interacting with their targeted user communities. In doing so, we have gained valuable experience and a thorough and rare understanding of the complexities and sensitivities of EU Institutions.

Role in COP-PILOT
IPN employs a dual role in COP-PILOT:
- Technical role: through IPN-LIS, IPN will support COP-PILOT platform implementation, focusing the employment of the secure fabric in different sectors (WP3), as well as contribute to the identification of requirements (WP2), pilot’s implementation (WP4), validation and evaluation activities (WP5).
- Knowledge transfer and clustering role: through IPN-VCI, IPN will support the dissemination of the COP-PILOT platform and the piloting cluster capabilities. Being responsible for Task 7.4, it will manage the project's interaction with external stakeholders.

Role in COP-PILOT
Telefónica Innovación Digital (TID) participates in the Spanish Cluster as a technology partner, bringing its expertise and innovative capabilities to drive the development and integration of use cases.
In the pilots, TID will provide Telefónica’s Commercial Network, enabling real-world connectivity scenarios and advanced 5G features, alongside its proprietary IoT platform, specifically designed for smart cities and university campus applications. These pilots will showcase cutting-edge use cases, test new technologies, and validate solutions in operational environments. TID will also contribute to integration activities, ensuring smooth interoperability between different systems and components.
As the leader of Task 7.2, Standardisation Activities, TID will focus on developing and maintaining a standardisation plan that aligns project outcomes with industry standards and best practices.

Role in COP-PILOT
UPV is the Spanish Cluster leader, T5.2 and T6.3 leader
As Spanish cluster leader, UPV will oversee the management of the cluster, coordinate the definition of use cases and the pilots preparation and execution, as well as the integration of all parts and with the COP-PILOT platform. First testing of pilots will be performed in UPV’s campus, to then test them in other locations.
As leader of T5.2 – Open Calls’ validation and evaluation (experimentation) [M16-M33], UPV will coordinate with the leader of WP5 and leaders of the other tasks of such WP, as well as cluster leaders to define a methodology for validation and evaluation of the open calls projects.
As leader of Task 6.3 – Third-parties training [M12-M36], UPV will coordinate with the leader of WP6 and leaders of the other tasks of such WP, as well as cluster leaders to define a methodology for training third parties onboarding the project through the open calls processes. The task will involve the preparation of material to disseminate project methodologies, technical concepts and tools and train third-party experimenters to improve their skills in the COP-PILOT platform, clusters, use cases and technologies to support the onboarding and finally to perform experimentation.

València Innovation Capital (VCH) is taking part in the European project COP‑PILOT as part of Cluster 2 – Spain – Valencia, alongside other entities such as UPV, VPF, TID, NES, FIVE and ALM, as well as other technological partners. Its main role focuses on facilitating the integration and validation of smart IoT solutions in real urban environments, contributing to the project’s goal: building an interoperable, secure and scalable platform for sustainable cities.
With its strategic position as a municipal initiative for urban innovation, València Innovation Capital drives the implementation of emerging technologies that enhance quality of life in the city. It also acts as a connector between the various stakeholders in the local and European ecosystem, promoting public-private collaboration and the adoption of sustainable digital solutions.

RISE will primarily participate as a technology provider and test bed for facilitator for Cluster 1. RISE will develop and provide Cloud and networked Edge compute infrastructure solutions in UC1.4 IoT–Edge–Cloud-Continuum for digital mines. The RISE ICE T&D facility is intended to be used as a test bed for hosting and showcasing solutions prior to implementation in real mining environment.

RockSigma is a provider of seismic processing software that helps mines improve safety and optimize production as they mine deeper and deeper underground.
The RockSigma solution provides unparalleled data quality, real-time capabilities and powerful easy-to-use tools, helping mines monitor, forecast and prevent seismic events, avoiding potentially catastrophic consequences and improving productivity.
Role in COP-PILOT
ROC is a contributor to Cluster 1, business integration in mining, specifically use-case 1.1, which is focused on large scale micro seismic monitoring.
ROC will use technologies provided within the project to integrate new seismic sensors with its existing seismic processing software solution, and to make the software deploy and run seamlessly on edge and cloud.

ThingWave AB is an award-winning, Sweden-based company specializing in advanced Internet of Things (IoT) solutions designed to help the mining industry to leverage the power of connected devices. ThingWave is a spin-off from Luleå University of Technology and focuses on providing innovative technologies that enable real-time data collection, advanced analytics, and seamless integration with existing systems.

Digital for Planet (D4P) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the design, development, and implementation of innovative digital technologies, systems, and solutions. It aims to empower individuals, communities, and both public and private sectors to effectively tackle significant social, economic, and environmental challenges humanity is facing.
Role in COP-PILOT
D4P is responsible for the WP6 and Task 7.1.
As a leader of the WP6, D4P will oversee the organization of Open Calls by managing the entire process, including the preparation, publication, and dissemination of the calls. D4P will handle proposal assessment and fund management, coordinate patrons and support team assignments, develop training materials and tutorials, and facilitate third-party training to ensure comprehensive support throughout the project.
In addition to managing the Open Calls, D4P will lead Task 7.1. Dissemination, communication, and clustering activities, by conducting outreach through presenting and demonstrating the project’s objectives, framework, concepts, platforms, tools, and results at key technology events targeting identified stakeholders. This will involve utilizing various channels, including the project website, social media, project branding, and the publication of open-access reports and results.

Role in COP-PILOT
As a key academic partner, the University of Bradford (UBRAD) brings extensive expertise in evaluating technology implementation, diffusion, and adoption to the COP-PILOT project. UBRAD will lead efforts to assess the societal and business impact of the pilots, ensuring their alignment with project goals and delivering actionable insights to drive meaningful outcomes.
UBRAD’s responsibilities include leading Deliverable D5.2, which entails reporting on the final testing cycle’s outcomes and validation results. This deliverable will comprehensively assess the validation of experiments and evaluate sustainability, societal, and business impacts, reflecting UBRAD’s critical role in advancing the project’s overarching objectives.
UBRAD will play a pivotal role in multiple Work Packages (WPs):
WP2: In collaboration with Kingston University London (KUL), UBRAD will contribute to Task 2.2, focusing on the extraction of use case-related requirements. This task will ensure the project is grounded in real-world needs and scenarios, establishing a robust foundation for subsequent developments.
WP3: UBRAD will support Task 3.4, which involves developing a smart, role-based business and operations portal. This portal will provide a user-friendly interface for COP-PILOT stakeholders to interact with the platform effectively.
WP4: As part of Task 4.3, UBRAD will contribute to integrating piloting use cases within the COP-PILOT clusters, preparing them for experimentation.
WP5: UBRAD will support Task 5.1, focusing on the validation and evaluation of piloting use cases through experimentation and deployment. For Task 5.2, UBRAD will assist with the validation and evaluation of Open Calls, monitoring and supporting third-party experiments. In Task 5.3, UBRAD will evaluate the design, execution, and outcomes of the COP-PILOT pilot experiments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. UBRAD will lead Task 5.4, which involves sustainability, social, and business impact assessments, directly contributing to achieving project objective #6.
WP6: UBRAD will play a supporting role in Task 6.1, which focuses on the preparation, publication, and dissemination of Open Calls, helping establish clear guidelines for their execution, and Task 6.3, which involves developing training materials and organizing support for third-party training during the Open Calls.
WP7: UBRAD will actively contribute to Task 7.1, dissemination and communication activities to promote the project’s goals and outcomes, Task 7.3, exploitation activities and intellectual property rights (IPR) management, and Task 7.4, clustering activities, knowledge transfer, and scaling up the project’s findings.
UBRAD will maintain a strong presence in WP1, WP2, WP3, WP5, WP6, and WP7, ensuring comprehensive involvement across the project’s workstreams. As a leader of Task 4.2, Piloting Use Cases development, RedZinc leads the development and piloting of use cases, integrating advanced features and technologies to achieve project objectives. RedZinc ensures compliance with technical and functional requirements while documenting and disseminating insights to foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the scientific community.

Out of the four (4) implementation axes defined in this project, AXON LOGIC mainly focuses on the first one, Axis #1-Tech Feature: LLM-based service descriptor mechanism and onboarding. AXON LOGIC can play a significant role in delivering parts of Task 3.1 and Task 3.4, implementing intelligent SLA compliance plugins as platform services and providing an LLM-based logic and translation mechanism, respectively.

Barba Stathis will also offer its drone technology for surveillance and data collection while its agronomist team will inspect the crop quality closely.

ENIC provides end-to-end (e2e) ML-enabled real-time services that meet the customer's industry-specific requirements. These services aim to increase businesses' sustainability index by enhancing technical performance efficiency, reducing environmental footprints, and promoting social welfare. Specifically, ENIC focuses on improving energy efficiency in buildings and power grid optimization, optimizing industrial processes, and managing assets for utilities such as PV parks. The company aims to deliver AI-based analytics solutions to various energy stakeholders tailored to their specific business needs to improve operational efficiency.
ENIC's technology stack is built on MLOps to provide end-to-end AI services. It leverages multi-domain expertise for advanced analytics and integrates cloud-edge computing to enable optimal deployment of contextual analytics. Additionally, ENIC focuses on use case-driven customized architectures for AI acceleration, specifically designed for latency-critical applications.
In COP-Pilot, ENIC is the technology provider of “Cluster 3 Energy”. It will provide the analytic services for all three UCs of the cluster, as well as the infrastructure to digest data from the on-field sensors in to the COP-Pilot platform.

The Institute of Communications and Computer Systems (ICCS) is a non-profit Academic Research Body associated with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (SECE) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). ICCS participates in COP-PILOT through the Computing Systems Laboratory (CSLab), one of the largest research laboratories of the Computer Science Department of SECE. CSLab possesses strong expertise in computer architecture and large scale parallel (HPC) and distributed systems (Big Data, Cloud and P2P infrastructures). Its members perform research and development both at the higher level of algorithmic design and applications’ optimization as well as in the assembly and operation of such systems with a tradition spanning more than three decades in the implementation, optimization and operation of systems at all scales.
Role in COP-PILOT:
ICCS is actively participating in COP-PILOT, as a technical partner, contributing to key activities of WP2, WP3, and WP4. Additionally, ICCS is engaged in WP7, supporting the project’s dissemination, communication and exploitation efforts to ensure the project achieves broad visibility and impact.

iLink is an innovative Software company in the field of IoT with a strong background in Software Telematics Solutions. It was established in 2005, and its portfolio enumerates more than 1000 enterprises in the private and public sectors in SE Europe. iLink research and development department has produced robust and mature solutions in the field of Fleet Telematics, Smart Logistics, and Enterprise Mobile Applications. The R&D department of iLink deals with research in the field of Genetic Algorithms related to Smart Logistics, IoT & Big Data Analytics related to its Fleet Management Solutions, and Blockchain related to the long-term target of building strong and transparent consortiums for several industrial sectors. Its scalable vehicle routing problem (VRP) algorithms and interoperability solutions enhance collaboration and efficiency across sectors. As a key player in fostering interoperability and data sharing across the agricultural value chain, iLink ensures seamless collaboration and information exchange among stakeholders. The organization is also responsible for streamlining the integration of IoT, edge computing, and robotics into farming operations, driving the adoption of advanced technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
As the use case owner for 3a.3 and 3a.4, iLink plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and operational alignment within these domains. Furthermore, its extensive expertise in diverse Innovation Actions (IA) and Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) projects under the EU framework solidifies its reputation as a leader in advancing agricultural technologies and promoting sector-wide modernization.

PNET is a private company incorporated as a Competence Centre in the field of B5G smart networks and services. It involves 21 shareholders representing industrial and business sectors, research and academia, public authorities, consulting and entrepreneurship support companies. It aims to support businesses in their digitalization journey by leveraging advanced technologies such as private 5G networks, edge cloud, and programmable networks. The Center places strong emphasis on strengthening vertical value chains, promoting sustainability, and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. p-NET’s services focus on the research and development of business solutions, experimentation and pilot testing in advanced lab infrastructure and experimental facilities, upskilling and reskilling training as well as awareness-raising and consulting services for public authorities, businesses, and startups.
PNET Role in COP-PILOT
PNET participates in the European project COP-PILOT, leveraging its expertise as Greece's first Competence Center for Emerging Smart 5G/6G Networks and Services. At the core of its contribution, PNET employs its advanced testbed to emulate real-time IoT data collection from Distributed Energy Resources (DER) through Advanced Metering Infrastructure and IoT devices. By quantifying, aggregating, and enabling flexibility with network state awareness, PNET facilitates critical real-time computations, including power flow analysis and data analytics, hosted on its testbed cloud (ENIC). Additionally, it ensures seamless feedback of activation signals to IoT-connected DER. PNET also actively participates in work packages addressing requirements, specifications, platform implementation, and large-scale service orchestration deployment. As the leader of Task 4.4, PNET oversees the setup and integration of open calls testbeds, ensuring robust piloting clusters and comprehensive preparation and integration of use cases, cementing its role as a key driver of innovation and technology transfer within COP-PILOT.

UBITECH has been established in Athens, Greece back in 2005, concentrated in the European market and acquiring several EC and national grants for novel R&D initiatives. UBITECH has extended its operations with targeted international activities through its affiliated companies, subsidiaries and offices in Limassol (Cyprus) and Buenos Aires (Argentina). UBITECH R&D team participates in large, multidisciplinary consortiums in complex and highly-innovative projects, conducting research in: Cloud Computing, Software and Services; 5G Technologies; Digital Security, Big Data and Analytics; Cyber-Physical Systems and Internet of Things; Energy Efficiency; Factories of the Future; e/m-Health.
Role in COP-PILOT
UBI undertakes the project technical management role, providing key contributions concerning the overall architecture and specific developments related to the platform interfaces, the telemetry solutions, and the definitions of the ZTP event management objectives. UBI also hosts the multi-domain E2E orchestration and implements the integration fabric interfaces, leading the WP3 development activities and leads tasks T1.2, T2.3, & T3.1.

UoP is the third largest university in Greece with each own campus in the outskirts of Patras city. The Network Architectures and Management (NAM) group (http://nam.ece.upatras.gr/) which represents the research aspect of the Greek cluster in this project acquired its expertise through collaborations with industry and a series of research national and European projects. It is currently comprised of 3 professors, 6 post-docs, 4 researchers-system developers and 7 PhD students. During the last ten years we have involved in many 5G/6G projects like 5G-VINNI, 5G-SOLUTIONS, 5G-VICTORI, 5GASP, FIDAL, ACROSS, 6G-XCEL, IMAGINEB5G, SAND5G, P2CODE . We are also maintainers of http://sence.city a service that engages citizens to report issues across their city and the ThingsNetwork IoT infrastructure/community in Patras.
UOP Role in COP-PILOT
UOP in COP-PILOT is the leader of the Cluster 3 on Energy and Agriculture. The UoP testbed will be employed to emulate the DER real IoT data collection from the Advanced Metering Infrastructure and IoT devices (in real-time) and quantify/aggregate/enable flexibility with network state awareness; the aggregator functionality will be hosted on the testbed cloud. All the DR computations, power flow analysis and data analytics in real time will be performed on the test bed cloud (ENIC) and the activation signals will be fed back to the IoT connected DER. UoP brings also expertise in the Open Source infrastructure manager OpenSlice. Leader of various tasks and deliverables

In the specific context of WP2, a significant part of OTE’s effort will be dedicated to contributions related to: (i) the ecosystem definitions & requirements; (ii) the piloting use cases (UCs) definition and requirements, and; (iii) the definition of the system architecture.
In addition, it is expected that OTE will support the effort for the piloting Clusters and use cases’ Preparation & Integration in WP4, particularly via: (i) the support of integration of the COP-PILOT platform in the piloting clusters; (ii) configuration and resource management of testbeds for UCs integration; (iii) the implementation of UCs’ advanced features and technologies; (iv) the integration and preparation of UCs for experimentation, and; (v) the support for Open Calls and integration of third parties.
In the framework of WP5, OTE also aims to emphasize for: (i) the support and validation of trials and experiments; (ii) assessing all related impact and; (iii) providing feedback on the validation and evaluation of the platform, UCs, Clusters, and experiments.
OTE will also be involved in actions for the support of Open Calls (as in WP6) and will participate to various dissemination, communication and exploitation efforts (as in WP7) aiming, among others to: raise awareness of the project; establish liaisons and collaboration with other projects, and; extract IPRs.

Agentscape AG role in the COP-PILOT project focuses on the development of a smart role-based business and operations portal. Leading Task 3.4, Agentscape is responsible for designing a front-end interface tailored for diverse stakeholders, including service providers, managers, and end-users. Key innovations include the integration of a Large Language Model (LLM)-powered multimodal user interface (LLM-UI plugin), which interprets high-level user inputs such as text and images into operational blueprints for service onboarding and lifecycle management.
Agentscape’s deliverables include:
- An initial release of the role-based access system and LLM-UI plugin by Month 18.
- Full system deployment by Month 26.
Agentscape will also support dissemination and exploitation activities, providing training and guidance to ensure effective use of its technologies across the project's four piloting clusters.

FIWARE is the Task leader of task 3.3. - IoT hardware and data management
This task seeks to integrate disparate IoT sensors and data via an NGSI-LD Context Broker and its outcomes include more fully defined data models and better integration of multiple IoT Systems. It is envisioned that a basic gateway for NGSI and Arrowhead will be available by month 10 with various updates and modifications thereafter. The initial documentation will involve the specification of gateways for various IoT data formats.
In addition, FIWARE will be involved in most other work packages (WP2, WP3, WP4, WP6) to various degrees, although most effort will be given to WP3. For example, FIWARE is involved in standardization at ETSI (related to task 7.2) and will help creation of data models for task 3.2 and the overall COP-Pilot architecture (task 2.3)

IPN operates in three areas: 1) Research and technological development; 2) Incubation and acceleration of tech-based enterprises; 3) Highly specialised training. IPN owns 6 technology development laboratories, among which Laboratory of Informatics and Systems (LIS).
Role in COP-PILOT
IPN employs a dual role in COP-PILOT:
- Technical role: through IPN-LIS, IPN will support COP-PILOT platform implementation, focusing the employment of the secure fabric in different sectors (WP3), as well as contribute to the identification of requirements (WP2), pilot’s implementation (WP4), validation and evaluation activities (WP5).
- Knowledge transfer and clustering role: through IPN-VCI, IPN will support the dissemination of the COP-PILOT platform and the piloting cluster capabilities. Being responsible for Task 7.4, it will manage the project's interaction with external stakeholders.

Role in COP-PILOT
Telefónica Innovación Digital (TID) participates in the Spanish Cluster as a technology partner, bringing its expertise and innovative capabilities to drive the development and integration of use cases.
In the pilots, TID will provide Telefónica’s Commercial Network, enabling real-world connectivity scenarios and advanced 5G features, alongside its proprietary IoT platform, specifically designed for smart cities and university campus applications. These pilots will showcase cutting-edge use cases, test new technologies, and validate solutions in operational environments. TID will also contribute to integration activities, ensuring smooth interoperability between different systems and components.
As the leader of Task 7.2, Standardisation Activities, TID will focus on developing and maintaining a standardisation plan that aligns project outcomes with industry standards and best practices.

Role in COP-PILOT
UPV is the Spanish Cluster leader, T5.2 and T6.3 leader
As Spanish cluster leader, UPV will oversee the management of the cluster, coordinate the definition of use cases and the pilots preparation and execution, as well as the integration of all parts and with the COP-PILOT platform. First testing of pilots will be performed in UPV’s campus, to then test them in other locations.
As leader of T5.2 – Open Calls’ validation and evaluation (experimentation) [M16-M33], UPV will coordinate with the leader of WP5 and leaders of the other tasks of such WP, as well as cluster leaders to define a methodology for validation and evaluation of the open calls projects.
As leader of Task 6.3 – Third-parties training [M12-M36], UPV will coordinate with the leader of WP6 and leaders of the other tasks of such WP, as well as cluster leaders to define a methodology for training third parties onboarding the project through the open calls processes. The task will involve the preparation of material to disseminate project methodologies, technical concepts and tools and train third-party experimenters to improve their skills in the COP-PILOT platform, clusters, use cases and technologies to support the onboarding and finally to perform experimentation.

RISE will primarily participate as a technology provider and test bed for facilitator for Cluster 1. RISE will develop and provide Cloud and networked Edge compute infrastructure solutions in UC1.4 IoT–Edge–Cloud-Continuum for digital mines. The RISE ICE T&D facility is intended to be used as a test bed for hosting and showcasing solutions prior to implementation in real mining environment.

RockSigma is a provider of seismic processing software that helps mines improve safety and optimize production as they mine deeper and deeper underground.
The RockSigma solution provides unparalleled data quality, real-time capabilities and powerful easy-to-use tools, helping mines monitor, forecast and prevent seismic events, avoiding potentially catastrophic consequences and improving productivity.
Role in COP-PILOT
ROC is a contributor to Cluster 1, business integration in mining, specifically use-case 1.1, which is focused on large scale micro seismic monitoring.
ROC will use technologies provided within the project to integrate new seismic sensors with its existing seismic processing software solution, and to make the software deploy and run seamlessly on edge and cloud.

ThingWave AB is an award-winning, Sweden-based company specializing in advanced Internet of Things (IoT) solutions designed to help the mining industry to leverage the power of connected devices. Digital for Planet (D4P) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the design, development, and implementation of innovative digital technologies, systems, and solutions. It aims to empower individuals, communities, and both public and private sectors to effectively tackle significant social, economic, and environmental challenges humanity is facing.
Role in COP-PILOT
D4P is responsible for the WP6 and Task 7.1.
As a leader of the WP6, D4P will oversee the organization of Open Calls by managing the entire process, including the preparation, publication, and dissemination of the calls. D4P will handle proposal assessment and fund management, coordinate patrons and support team assignments, develop training materials and tutorials, and facilitate third-party training to ensure comprehensive support throughout the project.
In addition to managing the Open Calls, D4P will lead Task 7.1. Dissemination, communication, and clustering activities, by conducting outreach through presenting and demonstrating the project’s objectives, framework, concepts, platforms, tools, and results at key technology events targeting identified stakeholders. This will involve utilizing various channels, including the project website, social media, project branding, and the publication of open-access reports and results.

Role in COP-PILOT
As a key academic partner, the University of Bradford (UBRAD) brings extensive expertise in evaluating technology implementation, diffusion, and adoption to the COP-PILOT project. UBRAD will lead efforts to assess the societal and business impact of the pilots, ensuring their alignment with project goals and delivering actionable insights to drive meaningful outcomes.
UBRAD’s responsibilities include leading Deliverable D5.2, which entails reporting on the final testing cycle’s outcomes and validation results. This deliverable will comprehensively assess the validation of experiments and evaluate sustainability, societal, and business impacts, reflecting UBRAD’s critical role in advancing the project’s overarching objectives.
UBRAD will play a pivotal role in multiple Work Packages (WPs):
WP2: In collaboration with Kingston University London (KUL), UBRAD will contribute to Task 2.2, focusing on the extraction of use case-related requirements. This task will ensure the project is grounded in real-world needs and scenarios, establishing a robust foundation for subsequent developments.
WP3: UBRAD will support Task 3.4, which involves developing a smart, role-based business and operations portal. This portal will provide a user-friendly interface for COP-PILOT stakeholders to interact with the platform effectively.
WP4: As part of Task 4.3, UBRAD will contribute to integrating piloting use cases within the COP-PILOT clusters, preparing them for experimentation.
WP5: UBRAD will support Task 5.1, focusing on the validation and evaluation of piloting use cases through experimentation and deployment. For Task 5.2, UBRAD will assist with the validation and evaluation of Open Calls, monitoring and supporting third-party experiments. In Task 5.3, UBRAD will evaluate the design, execution, and outcomes of the COP-PILOT pilot experiments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. UBRAD will lead Task 5.4, which involves sustainability, social, and business impact assessments, directly contributing to achieving project objective #6.
WP6: UBRAD will play a supporting role in Task 6.1, which focuses on the preparation, publication, and dissemination of Open Calls, helping establish clear guidelines for their execution, and Task 6.3, which involves developing training materials and organizing support for third-party training during the Open Calls.
WP7: UBRAD will actively contribute to Task 7.1, dissemination and communication activities to promote the project’s goals and outcomes, Task 7.3, exploitation activities and intellectual property rights (IPR) management, and Task 7.4, clustering activities, knowledge transfer, and scaling up the project’s findings.
UBRAD will maintain a strong presence in WP1, WP2, WP3, WP5, WP6, and WP7, ensuring comprehensive involvement across the project’s workstreams. This active engagement will foster seamless collaboration, integration of outcomes, and alignment with the project’s vision to create transformative impacts in sustainability, digital governance, and disruptive technologies.
