DESCRIPTION:Our partners from AgroApps participated in the 31st Agrotica\, the largest biennial agricultural trade fair in Greece and one of the top five agricultural exhibitions in Europe\, bringing together thousands of professionals\, companies\, and innovators from across the agricultural sector. \nDuring the four days of the exhibition in Thessaloniki\, the AgroApps team presented COP-PILOT at their stand\, highlighting the project’s mission and showcasing the opportunities offered through the COP-PILOT Open Call. \n \nThe team also emphasized the ongoing work in Cluster 3A\, led by AgroApps\, focusing on the development of a Collaborative Open Platform that will enable different technologies to operate as one system\, helping farmers manage a unified digital environment and integrate IoT\, edge computing\, and robotics.

DESCRIPTION:Agricultural University of Athens Showcases Smart Farming Innovations at the 2nd ICAERUS Demonstration Event\nAgricultural University of Athens (AUA) attended the 2nd ICAERUS EU Demonstration Event in Athens\, as an important step in promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange among European agri-tech projects. \nDuring the event\, Georgios Ntakos\, from the Smart Farming Technology Group – AUA\, presented the group’s contributions to COP-PILOT Cluster 3A\, highlighting advancements in autonomous navigation\, real-time weed detection\, and precision spraying using an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) platform. These innovations\, including the AI models and navigation systems developed by AUA\, will play a key role in enhancing the sustainability and efficiency of modern agriculture within the COP-PILOT ecosystem. \nThe ICAERUS Demonstration Event successfully showcased the latest innovations in agricultural robotics and digital technologies\, providing participants with hands-on insights into how robotic systems\, UAVs\, and autonomous platforms are transforming modern farming\, from precision spraying to data-driven field management. \nThe event also served as a vital clustering and dissemination opportunity\, strengthening collaboration between EU-funded agri-tech initiatives\, including SPADE\, OpenAgri\, AgRibot\, AgRimate\, Climate Farm Demo\, and Smart Droplets. Through this joint effort\, the European research community continues to drive shared innovation towards a smarter\, more connected\, and sustainable agricultural future.

SUMMARY:6th Symposium on Circular Economy and Sustainability
DESCRIPTION:On 17 June\, iLINK participated in the 6th Symposium on Circular Economy and Sustainability in Alexandroupolis\, Greece. Dr. Georgios Angelopoulos from iLINK had the opportunity to share insights from COP-PILOT Horizon. Georgios presented our work on transforming the agrifood chain through blockchain technology and smart logistics solutions\, making food systems more transparent\, traceable\, and efficient. \nThe presentation focused on two key use cases from Cluster 3A (Agriculture) within the COP-PILOT project. In this Cluster\, iLINK is responsible for securing data sharing and smart logistics for agri-food supply chains. These use cases are fully aligned with the Hourglass Model (developed by the CEI-Sphere Consortium)\, as they rely on a layered and modular system design that allows different technologies (IoT sensors\, UAVs\, robots\, cloud platforms) to work together through a common data layer. Ontologies are also used to ensure all systems understand and exchange data consistently\, enabling traceability\, automation\, and collaboration.
