SUMMARY:CEI in the Field: Cloud-Edge-IoT Applied to Agriculture Use Cases
DESCRIPTION:COP-PILOT will participate in the “CEI in the Field: Cloud-Edge-IoT Applied to Agriculture Use Cases” webinar\, organised by CEI-Sphere\, bringing together pilot projects from COP-PILOT and O-CEI to explore how Cloud-Edge-IoT technologies can address real-world challenges in agriculture and the wider agrifood value chain. \nAs part of the programme\, COP-PILOT Cluster 3A – Agritech Transformation and Sustainability Initiative (ATSI) will showcase how Cloud-Edge-IoT technologies can support the digital transformation of agricultural environments and agrifood operations. The presentation will highlight applications across the value chain\, including smart logistics\, agricultural operations\, and sustainability-oriented solutions\, demonstrating how connected and intelligent technologies can help improve efficiency\, interoperability\, and data-driven decision-making. \nThe webinar will also address common challenges faced when deploying Cloud-Edge-IoT solutions in agricultural environments\, including interoperability\, data governance\, connectivity\, and energy awareness at the edge.
